Sunny Beach is the largest summer holiday resort in Bulgaria, which offers over 200 hotels. It was purpose-built during the communist era and its location was chosen for its outstanding natural beauty. Sunny Beach is located 30 km north of Bourgas, between the south and the north part of Black Sea Riviera in a picturesque bay, which boast amazing sea views and 10 km of sandy beaches and sandy dunes.

Following the restoration of the ownership after the fall of communism, Sunny Beach became the preferred Bulgarian investment hot spot for developers from all over the world. It has since extended to connect with the historical town of Nessebar to the south and the village of St. Vlas to the north.

The infrastructure of the sea resort is very developed. Sunny Beach is only 24 km away from Bourgas airport, and 40 km from the Bourgas harbour and railway station. After finishing the “Black Sea” highway, Sunny Beach is expected to be the social-economical centre of eastern Bulgaria.

The sea resort offers eco-transport consisted of mini-train, rickshaws and bicycles. Because of its location, Sunny Beach offers its tourists long and sunny summer from May to October.

Nowadays Sunny Beach is the biggest sea resort, which offers variety of entertainment such as restaurants, night clubs, many specially-constructed park zones, aqua parks etc. The long and sandy beaches and the clean sea are premise for all the beach entertainments such as surfing, water ski and yacht cruises. The sea resort offers many traditional and international restaurants and huge range of different shops.

Nowadays, the infrastructure is concentrated in turning Sunny Beach into a modern sea town with all the conditions for both winter and summer activities. In possess of modern facilities such as tennis clubs, horse-bases and many mini-golf courses, Sunny Beach is often a preferred destination for mainly young people. Generally, the atmosphere in the resort is very dynamic and “party-like”. Annually, Sunny Beach is preferred destination for many famous Dj-s, which are part of every-day party program.
