Ravda is a small village located south of the famous old Nessebar. Due to the active developments over the property boom period in the Sunny Beach-Nessebar bay the village is now practically connected to Nessebar and is part of the newly formed conglomerate of settlements –Elenite,St. Vlas, Sunny beach , Nessebar and Ravda.

The population of people is officially 2606 people. Historically Ravda is a new settlement. It was formed in 1924 by several families relocating from Macedonia after the Balkan wars. The transformation of the unpretentious small village to a famous place for holidays began in the 60s when the Bulgarian government started the ambitious Sunny Beach resort project.

Nowadays the village is one of the most sought after holiday spots in Bulgaria. Situated along a 4 km long strip of sandy beach the village offers perfect condition for those who are looking for relaxing time under the sun.
