The clean white sands of the beaches gave the name to the popular seaside town of Byala. Located at Bulgaria’s mid-eastern coast, the town is administrative centre of Byala municipality and is part of Varna region.
The small traditional town is a well-known destination for Bulgarians to holiday and is only 5 km away from its sister town of Obzor. Not more than 45minutes from Varna (56 km) and 70 km from Bourgas (1 hour). Famous for its ideal weather conditions; hot summer and mild winters, Byala is a family orientated seaside resort with many possibilities and plenty of variety on offer with the tourist’s season running from mid April to the end of September.
Byala is famous as having some of the cleanest beaches on the Black Sea. Far away from the noise of the bigger resorts or more famous towns, the party hotspot is not here. Byala is the preferred place for families with children and offers sufficient nightlife for the teenagers to enjoy themselves too.
Byala is well-known as key vine-growing district and produces some of Bulgaria’s most flavoursome wines. The weather conditions and the generous south facing plains offer the ideal conditions for the cultivation many varieties of grapes.

There are many options for entertainments on the main beach; jeep safari, waterslides, jet ski, paragliding and water skiing are all available. By night there is a multitude of traditional restaurants in the town as well as many bars, not so many nightclubs so you can always expect a good night of sleep.
