Imoti.net reports: Real estate agency NewEstate teams up with the largest Russian property portal to shoot promotional videos seen by 500,000 Russians.
As a result of the continuing interest from Russian citizens buying property in Bulgaria, the largest Russian portal for overseas property Prian.ru and Bulgarian agency NewEstate, will film a series of commercials depicting the resorts of the Black Sea and the properties they offer. A team of Russian journalists and their film crew will arrive in the second week of June to help create media footage similar to that of A Place in the Sun Programme made famous in the UK.
The first video will be shot in early June and will present Sunny Beach and St. Vlas along with a selection of properties available from private vendors there. The video will be available to view at the end of June and is expected to be seen by more than 500,000 Russians.
Despite the large interest from Russia, in the minds of many Russians the image of Bulgaria is still dominated by images of communist style concrete buildings. This considerable marketing investment from NewEstate hopes to promote actual footage and help bring the reality to the screens of potential buyers.
Russians have been the main group of property buyers of holiday properties in Bulgaria for the past few years. According to the New Estate Bulgaria more than 85% of real estate transactions for Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast has been due to Russian demand. The company hopes that increased interest from ex-soviet states will return the market to levels seen in 2004-2008 from the British and Irish buyers and thus lead to a sustainable development of the property sector. So far, the forecast is optimistic for 2013, but unfortunately supply still far outstrips demand and as such price growth is not expected.
