Often referred to as the "Bulgarian Dubrovnik" or the "pearl of the Black sea" Nessebar is one of the most impressive towns of the Bulgarian black sea coast. It is divided into two parts-the Old Town of Nessebar and the New Nessebar. The old town is located in an small peninsula and basically an architectural museum presenting architectural styles from several centuries and the New Nessebar is a new and more modern settlement developed over the last 50 years.

Nessebar is located in a picturesque bay just 30 kms from the Bourgas boasting about 20 km of sandy beaches. It is connected to Ravda to the south and Sunny Beach, St. Vlas and Elenite to the North as the four settlements form a conglomerate of resorts attracting more than 2 million tourists every year.
