Golden Sands is one of the most popular seaside resorts on the northern Bulgarian Black Sea coast. It is located 15km away from the sea capital of Bulgaria Varna making it easily accessible from most of the European cities. The decision for the construction of Goden Sands was taken immediatly after WWII, as the idea was that the resort was to be one of the most modern holiday complexes in Europe. The name of the resort was inspired by the magnificent pure sands on the 10km long beach.
The development of new, more modern and multifunctional buildings and good infrastructure over the past 10 years has resulted in an increased interest from Russian and British investors towards the resort.
